Los Cabos
_

Over the last decade, Los Cabos has quietly evolved from a sleepy fishing area into one of Mexico's most popular resorts. With a sunny dry climate and a striking landscape of cinnamon-colored mountains, endless cactus desert, miles of sandy beaches and clear sapphire seas, it's no wonder! Los Cabos has special appeal for sports enthusiasts. The area is one of Mexico's top golf resorts, boasting five championship courses, and has long been known for excellent sport fishing.Hiking, diving and winter whale watching are also popular. When it comes to accommodations, it is important to note Los Cabos actually consists of two unique "Capes." San Jose del Cabo is a subdued village lined with shops, restaurants and hotels; while Cabo San Lucas is a more active resort area.

Cozumel
_

The island of Cozumel is Mexico's largest island, and is located 12 miles off the Caribbean coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, opposite the resort Playa del Carmen. It has exceptional coral gardens and spectacular reef drop-offs offering legendary snorkelling and the best diving in Mexico, ranking as one of the top five dive destinations in the world. The west coast of the island is where the majority of development has taken place and is where the town of San Miguel is situated. Due to the island's popularity with wealthy day visitors from the passing cruise ships, the town is packed with pricey shops, restaurants and bars, as well as the dozens of dive shops. Cozumel is a favourite destination for divers and non-divers alike, offering some good beaches, crystal clear water and plenty of sunshine.

Dynamic resorts, thrilling activities and pulsating nightlife assure there's something for everyone in Cancun. The action centers around three distinct bodies of water. Mazatlan
_

Mexico's largest West Coast port and the second largest coastal city, Mazatlan offers the delightful combination of affordable accommodations, seaside charm, and plenty of fun in the sun! Three distinct zones exist: the port and downtown area, known as "Old Mazatlan;" the Zona Dorada, home to nearly all of Mazatlan's visitor attractions; and a long stretch of mostly undeveloped beach that separates the two. Open-air bistros and bars line the uncrowded but active sands, where water sports break the surf and strolling vendors mix with sun bathers. Off-shore, visitors find some of the best deep-sea fishing in the world and a palm-lined seaside promenade connects the historical shopping district. Mazatlan also offers excellent dining, especially for seafood, and great nightlife.

Puerto Vallarta
_

Once a quiet fishing village, Puerto Vallarta was "discovered" by director John Huston, who filmed "Night of the Iguana" with Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor here. Since then, "Vallarta" has developed into a lively resort with wide appeal. Part of Vallarta's allure is its blend of the old and new.White stucco houses with red-tiled roofs and flower-filled balconies line cobblestone streets, and Mariachi music streams from downtown bars. You might even pass a burro clip-clopping along. But that's just half the story here. You'll also find resorts for every taste and budget along 25 miles of beaches; plus water sports, golf, horseback riding through the jungle and much more.

Ixtapa
_

The old-fashioned charm of this traditional Mexican town has been built through the years of the families of fishermen. Fishing is a way of life for a large number of the families here and is a growing tourist attraction in sportfishing. Shopping is popular in the nearby resort of Ixtapa. With classy shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars, and discotecs there is always something to explore. In Zihuatanejo, the main attraction is its well-protected bay where traveling boaters often spend the winter months moored in its peaceful clear waters. The bay offers various beaches for relaxation, recreation, dining, or simply enjoying the abundantly beautiful scenery and laid-back local lifestyle. Mexico invites you here for your vacation!
